16 YEARS OF HONORING OUR YOUTH

YOURS will be holding its annual Youth of Excellence Awards Banquet Celebration on Friday, April 25th, 6:30 pm at First Hall located at First Presbyterian Church, 820 Colonial Avenue, Norfolk. This is the time we and our community friends and partners honor our youth who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in volunteerism, academics and extracurricular activities.

Our guest speaker for the evening is Mr. Deon Garner, Principal of Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk, Virginia. He graduated in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Morehouse College. In 2011, Garner earned his master’s degree from George Washington University in Education and Human Development. Principal Garner is also the senior pastor of Gray’s Missionary Baptist Church in Hampton, Virginia.

Please help us in supporting our youth. We invite you to attend our banquet at $50/person or sponsor a teen at $25/person. If you are unable to attend, would you please place an ad in our program booklet (full page $150; half page: $100; quarter page: $50).
